I am really enjoying the craftsmanship in making videos. My latest experiment stems from me wondering what life would be like compacted down to just 17 seconds. Here is my semi-regular series: TO in 17 Seconds.
To kick this off, I was at the Brigit Watson opening at Tinku Gallery a few weeks back and it was wonderful to have both the artist there to speak about her work, and the gallery owner, Amrita, to explain why she felt it was important to have Brigit's work shown. In this clip, Brigit discusses some of the inspiration behind her paintings. The music in the background is by a friend's of Brigit's who used to work in the circus and I think you can hear the influence quite nicely.
This was shot on my $300 point-and-click and it's amazing how far technology has come, yeah? Normally, I leave the editing to experts much more talented than I, but for this, my own flickers of frenzy, it suffices. I hope you enjoy this and look forward for more to come.
